Obodo is a good player, but he’s pretty much superfluous to Udinese’s needs.

How many strikers does a team require? Quags, Toto, Floro Flores, Sanchez, Pepe… Any one of them would get time on the field for one of the “bigger” squads, and Udinese has them *all.* Obodo is really just catastrophe insurance. (And before anyone says it, yes, Obodo is listed as a midfielder, but he is played as a striker.)

in obodo the rumors says it will be the last chance for him aginst Sampdoria , his chance after four yellow cards to inler and isla , and if he failure may be sold in this January market .. Leonardi, although he stated that he not for sale (obodo) , It may be his substituted during this market’s Donati of Celtic he is from Friuli region and said that he hopes to be back in Friuli.

but in summer 2009 , if Zimling showed good things , inler will go , otherwise udinese will not sell unless there are very big money like 15 million euro , then udinese can buy a good midfielder , right now udinese need a backup to inler d’agostino isla , they are tired , they played a lots of games in Serie A, UEFA Cup ,, so marino need a good midfielder to Continue in (Serie A, UEFA Cup, Coppa )

Toto wanted/wants Roma, so if he goes anywhere it would be there. Now, all of the gossip about Manchester City lately seems to have fluttered out from nowhere. With only a few years left in his career, I don’t, personally, foresee him making a leap to the Premier League, much less Man. City. If he doesn’t finish at Udinese, then it will be somewhere else in Serie A. Great blog btw….even better it’s in English.

Thanks Hussain. I wrote the post two days before it appeared on here, so chances are, those moves hadn’t been made yet. Good to see that Udinese picked up a midfielder. I hope he’s an addition and not a REPLACEMENT, because “replacement” means somebody’s leaving.

1- Niki Zimling: is a midfielder Danish player, who was playing for Esbjerg fB in the Danish Superliga.

23 years ,he wil be Will be used alot in next games

2- Matías Aguirregaray, 19 years from Uruguay , was playing in Peñarol , back right , Mostly he will be with Primavera, next season with first team.

3- Sakari Mattila: Finnish footballer 19 years , He made his debut at the senior level in 2008. He is well-known about his shooting skills. Mattila is the captain of the Finnish under-19 national team.
