Only if he made it to Roma.
I am happy for him. I still doubt if he is going to make it to 2010.

Fabolous game. Di NA was a mad man out there. Totally underrated.

I dont understand why such a good, attacking team has such little fan support? I mean it looked like that stadium was half empty? Coud you explain this vin? Cheers to the win though.

That’s nothing out of the ordinary for Udinese, steven (unfortunately). If you look at the Friuli attendance over the past years, it’s been abysmal. I have no explanation for it either. Especially with an attack as exciting as the Zebrette’s, you’d think they’d be able to pack at least 30,000 in there for the opening match of the season. (FYI, Friuli’s capacity is less than 45,000, if I recall correctly.)

impressive that such a small city can field such a good team. Exspecially with a small stadium to sell tickets to. Smart management does a lot to help or hinder a team it seems looking at Palermo vs Udinese. Congrats on your win bud.

Di Natale had his chance at the Euros this summer, and he blew it.
I say no to 2010.

Sheesh; they got 26 000 people in a 41 000 capacity stadium where there are plenty of bad seats in the house. The Stadio Friuli was built for Italia 90 and as such has some seriously dated qualities such as the ubiquitous track-surrounding-pitch and a suburban location. No one in Italy fill those bottom seats, the sitelines are horrible. Same goes for the San Siro and Olympico. Of course Di Natale will get heavy consideration for WC 2010; the guy has a great touch, vision, patience, and the audacity and smarts to attempt (and score) balls that most players wouldn’;t even consider!

great to see Di Natale in the italian squad for WC qualifiers, he was totally dominant against Palermo. Shame that Quagliarella didn’t make it. Personally i would’ve taken Iaquinta out and replaced him with Quags.
